The next step discloses itself as God reveals it in the moment. No warning. No time to prepare. The reality of naked trust is the life of a Christian fully abandoned who leaves what is nailed down, obvious, and secure and walks into the unknown without any rational explanation to justify the decision or guarantee of what lies ahead. Why? The unwavering belief in a loving and caring God.
When you know God’s character, when you’ve experienced His undeniable goodness and faithfulness, the way of trust is a pathway that you will be more willing to take. This is the road less traveled and a road wrought with difficulty and pain, but it is a road you will never walk alone. The Lord Jesus walks with you for He is in you and provides the hope for the journey.
